About Me

I'm a Senior Software Engineer at The Home Depot and an alumnus from UT Austin making my way in the software development world one line of code at a time. I enjoy PC Gaming, backpacking, and reading in my free time. I'm looking to build my career in application development on both sides of the stack. I'm interested in working with teams that practice Agile Methodologies and use CI/CD. I'm currently doing research on AI and Machine Learning as I continue to build my career. I would like to gain more experience practicing these cutting edge programming techniques because I believe that the tech world moves constantly, and I'd like to be learning from those that are riding the wave.

  • Let us change our traditional attitude to the construction of programs. Instead of imagining that our main task is to instruct a computer what to to, let us concentrate rather on explaining to human beings what we want a computer to do.

    Donald Knuth
  • The competent programmer is fully aware of the strictly limited size of his own skull; therefore he approaches the programming task in full humility, and among other things he avoids clever tricks like the plague.

  • When to use iterative development? You should use iterative development only on projects that you want to succeed.
